Back to work...

I'm now back from my vacation refreshed and ready to begin work on updates to Pixaria 2 and development on Pixaria 3.0 which is scheduled for release in mid 2009. I'm also ready to begin adding language modules to Pixaria 2.5 so if you're working on one, let me know.

As a brief aside, my trip to the Dominican Republic proved rather eventful as we got first hand experience of Hurricanes Gustav, Hanna and Ike the last of which caused a lot of damage to property in the area I was staying. Having seen the kinds of damage that tropical cyclones can do first hand, my thoughts and sympathies go out to those who've been affected by this years storms, especially in the US south west, Haiti and Cuba.

Haiti in particular has been badly hit with an estimated 650,000 people affected and in need of assistance. You can find out more and support the relief effort in Haiti through Oxfam or Medecins Sans Frontieres.
