Development update
Posted on Monday, November 3, 2008As we head on towards the end of the year, my focus for development on Pixaria is now beginning to shift from version 2.5 to version 3.0 which I'm hoping to release sometime during August 2009.
This might sound like a long way off but there is a lot of work to do and the list of feature requests is currently over 100 points long all of which will take some time to go through. At present, I'm working on the admin side of the script improving the user interface for frequently used tasks like changing settings and importing images.
I'll be posting occasional updates and screenshots as I go but as with Pixaria 2.0, I won't be publishing a list of all the new features until the software is released.
During development of version 3.0, I will also continue to update the version 2.5 series with minor feature additions and bug fixes. Keep an eye on the blog for more details...
