Pixaria 3.9.4 Now Available

Pixaria Gallery and AssetDeck versions 3.9.4 are now available for all users. This will be one of the last releases before version 4 is released but there are plenty of exciting new features and a host of minor improvements included. The biggest additions in this update are a new list view for galleries and files in the front end and a streamlined shopping cart user interface.

The front end browsing experience has been improved with the addition of a new thumbnail layout system that makes better use of space on screen by implementing jQuery Masonry to dynamically position thumbnails in the most space saving way possible. This new feature can be configured from the admin area where it is also now possible to configure the display galleries and files in table lists.

For users of the store functions, the purchase process has been significantly streamlined with the addition of the ability to purchase multiple image products at the same time from the image product information page. This change removes the hassle of going back and forth between the cart and image product detail screens when buying multiple products in one transaction. Further improvements have been made to how products and product information is displayed in the cart itself.

Also included in this update are a range of minor enhancements and bug fixes in the areas of file downloads, purchasing, image metadata handling, file importing and search engine optimisation.

There are a large number of changes in this release so please be sure to check the release notes before upgrading to make sure you're aware of all the changes. Don't forget that, as always, the change log contains details of all the files that have been modified since version 3.9.3.
