Pixaria 3.9.1 Now Available

I'm delighted to announce the immediate availablility of Pixaria Gallery and AssetDeck versions 3.9.1. This release includes some major new features including support for manually adding custom icon, thumbnail and preview images to files in AssetDeck and customisable resizing options for non-paid image downloads in both Gallery and AssetDeck.

Custom Download Resizing

Customisable non-paid download sizes have been a long requested feature and now, these can be configured in the admin download settings control panel. Download options are automatically made available to users in the front end provided they have permission to access non-paid, original resolution files.

Alternate Images In AssetDeck

For users of AssetDeck, this upgrade includes an important new feature in the form of support for adding custom icon, thumbnail and preview images to all types of files even those which don't normally have image previews such as office documents, text and zip files. Adding alternate preview images can be done from the file edit screen in the admin area

The alternate media capabilities in 3.9.1 will be extended to include video previews in a forthcoming update.

Other New Features

Also new in this upgrade is a landing page for completed purchases with instructions for accessing downloads and support for affiliate code tracking, colour sampling directly from images in the admin file edit screen and a beta version of a Latin American Spanish admin localisation (thanks to Jose Angel Murillo).

Don't forget that, as always, the change log contains details of all the files that have been modified since version 3.8.
