Uploading images using Aperture
Introduction
Pixaria Gallery users who work with Apple's Aperture digital asset management software can now upload images to their library using the free Pixaria Gallery Aperture export plug-in.
Aperture is a powerful software application for Mac OS X which enables photographers to import, edit and organise RAW, JPEG and TIFF images. From version 1.5, Aperture has enabled the option to create plug-ins for exporting images direct to websites and a Pixaria Export plug-in is now available.

Getting the plug-in
The Pixaria Gallery Aperture Export plug-in is available by contacting the developer by e-mail. Once the plug-in has been stabilised, it will be made generally available for all users of Pixaria.
How to use the plug-in
The plug-in comes on a compressed disk image as a Mac OS X installer package. Once you have downloaded and opened the disk image, you will need to quit Aperture, and run the installer package which will place the install the plug-in into ~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/Export/.
The next time you open Aperture, you will be able to use the plug-in by selecting images to upload to your Pixaria website and choosing File > Export > Pixaria Gallery... in the menu bar. A dialogue Window will open prompting you for FTP information for your Pixaria website. When you have filled in the required information, you can submit the form which will then upload the images into the directory you specified.
Where can I get Aperture?
Aperture is available from the Apple Store and Apple authorised resellers. You must have Aperture version 1.5 and Mac OS X version 10.2.8 or above in order to use this plug-in.
