When I try to test my site, I get a blank page
This is probably caused by one of two factors:
- Your Smarty 'cache' and 'templates_c' directories do not have read/write/execute permissions.
- One of your Smarty template files in the selected theme directory has an error in it like mismatched curly brackets { }.
To resolve problem one, change the permissions on both these two directories in 'resources/smarty/' to '777'.
To resolve problem two, try using the default design theme 'Evolution' that came with your software. If you've edited any of the template files that came with the script, make sure that your Smarty tags are correctly formatted with no mismatched curly braces.
