Set Default Comp Image Sizes

Note: This tutorial is for advanced users only and making the changes described here may result in unpredictable behaviour in your site.

The default display size for images in the gallery front end is 630 × 630 pixels because this is the best size to ensure that the HTML layout works correctly on all web browsers. Using a larger image size may cause layout problems but if you really need to change this, then it is possible.

If you want to make the size larger, you can do so by editing the file resources/includes/pixaria.Constants.php where the default size is set (see the screenshot below). Note that it's recommended that you ensure your image library is empty before you change this setting as images will need to be re-imported to get the new size to work. If you're sure you want to make this change, remember that you can't change it afterwards without re-importing your images.

If you want to show the images at their original size, then this is also possible but requires a change to the templates to make it work. For more details, see the documentation topic on this subject here.
